For the most part, poker bots are not in any serious trouble if the internet connection they are using disconnects. This is because most poker bots are cash-game bots, and do not lose any equity by sitting out, and face only the inconvenience of not being able to play.

Tournament players are aware of how costly a disconnection can be. This is especially true for turbo sit & go tournaments, where for poker bots and humans alike, sitting out for more than 5 minutes can be the difference between entering the money, and losing a buy-in.
Poker Bots & Notifications
One of the most important features of ICM-Bot is the warning it gives if an error is encountered and the internet connection is timed out. Typically, a poker bot would be sitting out, unknown to its owner, without being able to give any sort of notification.
ICM-Bot’s Solution
If ICM-Bot encounters an error (for example, due to disconnection or a computer-related issue), it notifies the user via an alarm. If you turn your volume up, you do not need to worry about any disasters while you’re not in the vicinity of ICM-Bot. This allows you to not have to constantly tend to your poker bot and ensure that everything is going smoothly.
